Olafur Ragnar, Daniel and Georg show their support for the Icelandic film and television industrySagafilm along with many of the people behind the Shifts series and Mr. Bjarnfredarson are coming together to drum up support for the Icelandic film and TV industry by creating 8 short sketches set to happen at the gas station where the Night Shift was shot, starring the country's most famous TV characters from the aforementioned series and film. The writers, actors, producers, costume designer, set designer, cinematographer and make-up artist along with grippers, lighting and sound technicians as well as all post-production staff will donate their work to show their support to the industry in the face of massive 35% cutback in state investment in the industry. The sketches, aimed at disspelling film-making myths, will be shown at the "Edda - Icelandic Film and Television Awards" broadcasted on Channel 2 later this month as well as being posted on the web.
