Mr. Bjarnfredarson takes home 6 out of a possible 9 Edda Awards

Mr. Bjarnfredarson was the big winner at Saturday's Icelandic Film and Television Awards winning 6, out of a possible 9 statues.

The film, was nomated for 11 awards with all three leading men competing for the coveted statue in their category.
The film won for Best Film, Director, Actor, Script, Cinematography and Costumes.  The director, Ragnar Bragason, was overjoyed with the success, which didn't end with the awards for Mr. Bjarnfredarson.  The third installment of his TV series "The PrisonShift", on which the film is based, took home another 6 awards, including Best TV Series.
