Sagafilm nominated for two awards at the Icelandic Marketing AwardsMr. Bjarnfredarson shows no signs of slowing down. After winning almost every award it could at the Icelandic Film and Television Awards further accolades are now presenting themselves as the film's poster is nominated for an Icelandic Marketing Award (IMA) for "Poster of the Year". It's the first time Sagafilm is nominated for graphic design at the IMA's, as the category is usually monopolised by advertising agencies. The poster depicts a large mosaic of Mr. Bjarnfredarson screaming at a younger version of himself. Each mosaic tile represents a scene from the movie so, it could be argued that the whole movie is in the poster. The mosaic tiles are crumbling and falling from the wall as the child observes. This is representative of the narrative of the film, a redemption story which reveals the true self of Mr. Bjarnfredarson through peeling back the layers of a persona though his flashbacks into a troubled childhood.
