The movie is a sequel to the Norwegian surprise international hit Dead Snow. Co-produced with Norwegian company Tappeluft and premiered in February 2014 in Sundance. Medical student Martin has, as the only survivor of fellow gang, battled away Herzog’s zombie army and down to the car where he finally aims a hope of survival. But the fight is far from over and we see more interesting characters join Martin’s disgusting and hilarious zombie battle. If the worst day of your life consisted of accidentally killing your girlfriend with an axe, chain-sawing your own arm off, and watching in horror as your closest friends were devoured by a zombified Nazi battalion, you’d have to assume that things couldn’t get much worse. In Martin’s case, that was only the beginning.
